What hold us back from letting go is holding on to hurtful past, thinking about someone’s comment and having fixed ideas of the way things should be done. What we fail to understand is that the more we try to control the past, others and our way of thinking more out of control we feel and holds us back from letting go. We need to practice the art of  letting go of our hurts and hold on to what heals us. Letting go of what we cannot control and focus on what we can control is the starting point to begin the process of letting go.
